
The letter Citigroup Inc. sends to former workers about their health insurance rights is confusing and misleading in violation of federal law, according to a class action complaint filed in the Southern District of Florida.
Citigroup’s notice informing former workers of their right to remain on the company’s health plan is incomplete and fails to give workers all legally required information needed to sign up for coverage, ex-Citigroup employee Manuel Pinazo said in a lawsuit filed Monday.
