The Wells Fargo near the Galleria at Tyler mall in Riverside closed Tuesday, April 21, and all employees were asked not to return after multiple employees tested positive for COVID-19, the company said Friday, April 24.
The branch, at 3765 Tyler St., will resume operations “as soon as possible,” Wells Fargo spokesman Brian Lucero-Contreras said.
The company is not disclosing the number of employees who tested positive, he said.
Wells Fargo deep cleaned the branch and is following all public health guidance, Lucero-Contreras said.
All employees at the branch “were in prolonged, close contact with the affected individuals and have been asked not to come into the office in accordance with public health guidance,” he said in an email. “Those employees will not need to use paid time off.”
Customers can check Wells Fargo’s branch locator for ATM locations and the status of branches and can use mobile and online banking tools, he said.
