WOODBRIDGE, Conn. (WTNH) — An East Haven man was arrested Saturday in connection with a bank robbery at TD Bank in Woodbridge Feb. 24.
Police say that just after 1 p.m. Feb. 24, a man entered the TD Bank, at 128 Amity Rd., and demanded cash from the tellers. Once he received the cash, he then left the building and fled the area in an unknown direction.
Surveillance photos were released of the bank robbery showing the suspect wearing a dark-colored hooded winter jacket, a grey winter cap, and sunglasses.
Police were searching for the suspect since that day.
The Connecticut Bankers Reward Association was offering a $500 reward for information leading to the arrest of the suspect.
Saturday, Kirk Bell, 29, of East Haven, was arrested and charged with the robbery. He is being held on $200,000 bond.
