Norfolk’s Poplar Hall Park adding trees, removing invasive plants – The Virginian-Pilot  Virginian-Pilot

On Nov. 2, Friends of Norfolk Environment, volunteers, and Norfolk Department of Recreation Park and Open Space staff will arrive at the park to plant dozens of trees. FONE is also working with a wetland mitigation specialist to remove 2,000 linear feet of invasive Phragmites along the northern boundary of the park to open up the waterway.
